This conning tower is designed based on the original blueprints of the Type VII-B submarine. The tower is also a near-perfect match for the Type VII-C class tower. It's a cutaway on the starboard side.
When installing this kit onto the Trumpeter Type VII-C submarine, you will need to modify the original deck by cutting an opening the size of the conning tower. The tower attaches directly to the ceiling of the control room (Zentrale) section.
